These daily tours are available for tourists interested in certain attractions in Germany. Our daily tours leave on certain dates and return the same evening. The buses pick-up and drop-off at locations in Bonn/Bad Honnef and Cologne. Take a look and see for yourself which one of our daily programs suites you the best.

Unesco Cathedrals Cologne and Aachen

Tuesday at €90 for the daily tour

  • Cologne Cathedral

 

First we head towards Cologne to visit one of the best known architectural monuments in Germany and the largest Gothic church in Northern Europe. Colognes most famous landmark is described by UNESCO as an “exceptional work of human creative genius” and certified a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After taking the guided tour through the famous cathedral you will have ample time to climb up the buildings tower and enjoy a fascinating view above the roofs of Cologne.

 

  • Aachen Cathedral

 

We continue to Aachen and visit the Aachen Cathedral – a Roman Catholic church often referred to as the “Imperial Cathedral”. It is the oldest church in northern Europe and and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The chapel was the place of coronation for 30 German kings and 12 queens.

 

After the Aachen cathedral you will have time to enjoy Aachen and we will head back towards Cologne in the evening.

Essen - European Capital of Culture 2010

Wednesday at €140 for the daily tour

  • Gasometer Oberhausen

 

In the morning we will depart to Oberhausen and discover the industrial monument called Gasometer. It was built in the late 1920’s as Europe’s biggest disc-type gas holder. And nowadays it is an impressive reminder of the heavy industry character of the Ruhr area. Get an impression of great engineering skill reflected in its construction and follow the exhibition”Out of this World – Wonders of the Solar System”, that is a project by the European Capital of Culture 2010.

 

At midday we will take a lunch break in Oberhausen. You will have the chance to refresh yourselves in Europe’s biggest shopping and leisure center called CENTRO.

 

  • Zeche Zollverein Essen

 

In the afternoon we continue to Essen – the European capital of Culture 2010 and visit the Zollverein World Heritage Site, a place formerly known as the“most beautiful coal mine in the world”. Now it is the best-known industrial monument and center of creative economy in the Ruhr area. Follow the path of the coal amongst gigantic machines and learn more about the impressive architecture while listening to the stories of a former coal miner.

 

In the evening we will return to Cologne and Bonn/Bad Honnef.

Wine and Rhine

Thursday at €120 for the daily tour

 

Price includes: Transportation, tour guide, Hike on Rheinstieg or city Bad Honnef and transportation to Königswinter, wine tasting in Königswinter, cog-railway to Drachenfels, rivercruise back to Cologne, bus transfer to Bonn/Bad Honnef


  • Rheinstieg

 

This trail does contain some challenging inclines, narrow up- and downhill paths through vineyards with spectacular views.

 

  • Königswinter

 

This little town on the Rhine is famous for the castle ruin Drachenfels or Dragon's Rock. We are going to take a cog-railway up the mountain and enjoy the romantic ruin with the spectacular views of Bonn and the surroundings. We will also take the time for some wine-tasting since the steep slopes of the mountains make for some fantastic wine growing areas.

 

  • Rivercruise

 

Evening rivercruise back to Cologne. A great experience that features great views.
